For recordkeepers and TPAs interested in demonstrating the highest standard of operational excellence, CEFEX certification is available. To learn more about CEFEX and review the Pooled Plan Standard developed by GPS visit the CEFEX website.

While not required, certification can help:

  • Strengthen your credibility
  • Validate your processes
  • Provide an independent review of IRS and DOL compliance controls using a standard modeled after the CEFEX assessment process, which is based on the international auditing standard ISO 19011
